My name is Sam, I use they/them pronouns. I am a digital artist with a degree in Game Art.

Small simple objects and flat colour or shapes for the backgrounds are no additional cost.Extra characters will cost an additional 50% of whichever size, for each additional character.Complex backgrounds (such as rooms, or scenery) will cost an additional 5$-10$ depending on the amount and complexity of background fit into the piece.

Below are a list of things I will and will not draw. These are not the end all be all of either category. Discussing your intent for your commission is vital to knowing if I can comfortably and skillfully create for you. I have a right to refuse any commission for any reason. Be free to reach out if anything below is unclear.

Terms Of Service

By commissioning me you accept these terms and conditions. I will ask for confirmation that you have read and agreed before working with you. Failure to abide by these terms will result in me no longer taking commissions from you in the future.

General

  • I reserve the right to refuse a commission for any reason.

  • Art will be signed unobtrusively. Do not remove the signature/watermark unless previously discussed.

  • Do not use my work for commercial use without prior discussion.

  • My work is not to be used anywhere associated with AI: including training it, being "finished" by it, or altered by it in any way.

  • My work is not to be minted/made into an NFT, or have any affiliation to crypto.

  • Do not use or affiliate my work with hate speech.

Payment & refunds

  • I will only accept commissions via PayPal. (IRL commissioners may discuss e-transfer option)

  • I will only begin working on your commission after receiving payment in full. In exchange you will receive updates on progress and estimated timelines.

  • Full refunds will only be issued if I am incapable of completing your commission.

  • If you request a commission whilst I am in early stages of work, such as sketch or line-art, then you will receive a 50% refund.

  • If a refund is in order. Do not charge back. I will send the money back myself.

Process

  • Reach out to me via preexisting contacts, or at bluesky or kofi @scorchingscotch to discuss your commission.

  • I will discuss with you a price and an estimated time it will take.

  • I will begin working on your commission after receiving the payment.

  • I will send the sketch (with a watermark) to discuss revisions. Any further updates will be delivered on request.

  • I will do my best to keep you updated, but feel free to reach out for updates on your own as well!
